This is a self-published book that follows me on an adventure I crafted out of a 'mid-life' crisis.
It's a reckoning with family history, generational trauma, sobriety, and self love.
Memories from my grandmother's house help connect some dots on the map of my road trip, and my heart. I aim to learn how to appreciate the little things of my grandmother's life through a clearer head without spirits.
I used multiple techniques and mediums in this process, from acrylic painting and collage, to oil pastel and ink, to digital black and white comics.
